Apple cider vinegar limeade

This simple recipe is long over due. This apple cider vinegar limeade has been a saver recipe the past few months.

Who doesn’t drink apple cider vinegar? We actually do. It has so many different health properties. Cider vinegar really enhances your immune system. I use it for my homemade cough medicine, cleaning solutions and as a rinsing aid for my dishwasher. I just love it, and the fact that it is so inexpensive makes this ingredient even better.

The reason why I made my own apple cider vinegar limeade is because not long ago we were food shopping and bought a bootle of apple cider vinegar limeade which I bought for $1.50 for 20 oz. That to me was expensive but I wanted to try it. Granted it was organic but never the less expensive. I looked at the ingredient list of the bottle and when I went home I made my own.

In the winter we normally take a shot of apple cider vinegar, but to be honest, it is hard to take, especially for my kids. This way it is much more manageable. My kids actually enjoy it.

I think the flavor of lemon goes really well for this apple cider vinegar limeade. I am sure you could chose other flavors but for now this is the only flavor I have experimented with. I think a raspberry or berry of any type will be great for this.

This is our to go drink for the winter. You can dilute this apple cider vinegar limeade with more water if you think it is too strong. Either way it is great so I hope you get to try it.

Enjoy!

  1. Wow. It looks like you’re having a great time! I’ve always wanted to travel to España, but I will one day. The view of the hiking looks gorgeous. I’ll be sure to check it out whenever I go visit Spain (probably in 5 years? lol). I’m usually scared of heights, so, I’ll see how that goes! Maybe my excitement will overcome my fears.
And, I’ve never tried gazpacho before. I’ll have to try it.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip in Spain. =)

    • You will love this area. If you come to Spain you have to try your best to make it to the North. Gazpacho is very easy to make and extremely healthy so I suggest you try it soon, when I get back to the US I am going to make it at least once a week. Thanks. I am trying to relax and enjoy myself :-)

  2. Wow, what an incredible hike that must have been! That is a breathtaking side of Spain that I’ve never seen but hope to one day. I love this gorgeous gazpacho inspired by your home country! Thanks for sharing and enjoy the rest of your time there, Miryam!

  4. Ahhhhhkkk!!!! This post just makes me hurt for spain so much!!!! I fell in LOVE with barcelona and have been desperatly trying to get a job there- stupid work visa seems to be the biggest problem. Anyways, as a vegetarian i enjoyed a lot of gazpacho there :)
Do you have a recipe for the less traditional white gazpacho with almonds?I only had it once but would love to recreate it this summer.
I agree with the extra garlic note ;)

  5. ahhh.. i’m so jealous. i love Spain! PIctures are gorgeous… 7 hours of just hiking, I’d be so tired in 1 hour. Just absorb it all and take it all in. Have fun!

  6. Oh my how gorgeous!! I’m so glad to hear you’re having such a good time.

It is getting to be HOT here in the US so this gazpacho is definitely exactly what I need!

  7. The hike looks so beautiful. Such great photos!

  8. It looks absolutely stunning there!! And those hiking trails, sheesh!! I’m glad you’re enjoying your trip!! ;)

  9. Hey Myriam are you from Spain? Is the northern part of Spain the most beautiful part of the country? I am planning to go with my girlfriend she’s French but I told her I always wanted to visit Spain as well, maybe this summer.

    • I think it is very beautiful, however, there are many beautiful parts of Spain. South Spain, La costa Brava, which is the East side of Spain, Madrid etc is very beautiful. Topography is very different depending where you are in Spain. Up north looks like you are in Sweden, South like you are in Greece, East like you are in Italy…so different. I hope this helps a little.

  10. How long would this keep in the fridge?
