Apple cider vinegar limeade

This simple recipe is long over due. This apple cider vinegar limeade has been a saver recipe the past few months.

Who doesn’t drink apple cider vinegar? We actually do. It has so many different health properties. Cider vinegar really enhances your immune system. I use it for my homemade cough medicine, cleaning solutions and as a rinsing aid for my dishwasher. I just love it, and the fact that it is so inexpensive makes this ingredient even better.

The reason why I made my own apple cider vinegar limeade is because not long ago we were food shopping and bought a bootle of apple cider vinegar limeade which I bought for $1.50 for 20 oz. That to me was expensive but I wanted to try it. Granted it was organic but never the less expensive. I looked at the ingredient list of the bottle and when I went home I made my own.

In the winter we normally take a shot of apple cider vinegar, but to be honest, it is hard to take, especially for my kids. This way it is much more manageable. My kids actually enjoy it.

I think the flavor of lemon goes really well for this apple cider vinegar limeade. I am sure you could chose other flavors but for now this is the only flavor I have experimented with. I think a raspberry or berry of any type will be great for this.

This is our to go drink for the winter. You can dilute this apple cider vinegar limeade with more water if you think it is too strong. Either way it is great so I hope you get to try it.

Enjoy!

  1. do you use the raw ACV with the mother? Bragg brand is what I get. Not exactly sure how much nutritional difference it is but with raw the enzymes from fermentation are still the while pasteurized kills all that good stuff. I’m sure both are good but for alkalizing the body but I consume raw to get that good bacteria.

  2. I first heard about how good apple cider vinegar was for you years ago! I love the idea of mixing it into lemonade!

  3. You should change the name to Apple Cider Lemonade since you use frozen Lemonade mix.
Or did you mean to use Limade mix?

  4. Very clever, sounds like a great drink for the kids (or adults!) when they’re feeling under the weather. :)

  5. You need to be a part of a contest for one of the finest blogs on the net.
I’m going to recommend this website!
