Easy Roasted Broccoli Florets

This is one of our favorites side dishes, healthy, simple and delicious. Not only because I love broccoli but also because it is so fast and easy to put together that I really do not count it as cooking. Pretty much just open the broccoli bag and place broccoli florets on the sheet pan, turn the oven on, and voila, you are done!

The only thing I do is put some salt and pepper to taste and a bit of olive oil although you can do without.

Enjoy!

  1. Hi Miryam — I’m a fellow Westfield resident but I found your blog the long way around. I am a member of Union County Holistic Moms and recently attended their annual conference. At the conference I signed Jamie Oliver’s petition which also added me to his email list. I saw his most recent email with his blogs of the month and happened to click on yours. What a great surprise to see that you also live in Westfield :)

I’ve browsed through your blog a little and love your recipes. We are a vegetarian family so I am happy to see so many veg recipes. Even though I am (was) a culinary professional, I can always use a little inspiration.

I just wanted to stop in and say hi! and maybe I’ll see you around town.

    Amy

  2. Hi Amy,
so excited you found my blog through the Jamie Olive cite. Actually very excited as well that you live in Westfield, hopefully we will get to run into each other soon :-)

Vegetarian, cool. I was a lacto ovo vegetarian for 19 years (yes to eggs, fish and dairy, couldn’t do with out :-) We do eat meat sometimes but not to often and up until this date I only eat chicken, organic though! and once every two months or so…

Anyhow, thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon :-)

  3. I absolutely LOVE roasted broccoli (all roasted veggies, really!). Hopefully you gain some new roasted veggie lovers thanks to this post!
